Pam Warren
Widely recognised as “The Lady in the Mask” following the Paddington rail crash, Pam Warren survived a near-fatal event that changed her life in an instant. What followed was not only a long and complex recovery, but a journey into purpose, advocacy and resilience that continues to shape her work today.
A former financial adviser, Pam went on to become a national rail safety campaigner in the UK, working closely with investigators, regulators and policymakers to push for greater accountability and improved safety standards. Her persistence helped contribute to meaningful reforms — a rare example of lived experience driving systemic change.
Now an international inspirational speaker and author, Pam brings a perspective that is grounded, practical and deeply human. She speaks openly about trauma, recovery and identity, and about learning to navigate — and ultimately embrace — change when it arrives without invitation.
